| PCDC welcomed more than 450 friends and guests at Bridgewaters in South Street Seaport to celebrate the new prominence of primary care in healthcare reform. The event gathered representatives from the health care and banking sectors, as well as staunch allies of primary care, to honor the outstanding achievements of David B. Snow, Jr., Chairman & CEO, Medco Health Solutions; Margaret A. Hamburg, M.D., Commissioner of Food and Drugs, Department of Health & Human Services; Herbert Pardes, M.D., President & CEO New York Presbyterian Hospital; and New York Presbyterian Healthcare System; and Katherine A. The event raised more than $400,000 to support PCDC's programs and services to help improve access to primary care in low-income communities in New York and across the United States.
