THE COMMONWEALTH FUND AWARDS PCDC A $255,688 GRANT TO STUDY LEARNING COLLABORATIVE SUCCESS

May 11, 2005¾The Commonwealth Fund recently awarded the Primary Care Development Fund (PCDC) a $255,688 grant to research what the determinants are for sustaining and spreading the successes achieved through the Learning Collaborative model. By analyzing the key “ingredients for success” in this model, this research will help inform the Fund’s Program on Health Care Quality Improvement as well as other performance improvement initiatives. PCDC will begin the research in June 2005 and will issue the final report in March 2006.
